I was lucky enough to be chosen along with eight others to attend an IVS Training “Forklift driving” course at Classic Flyers.

We all passed and came away with a Forklift driving certificate.

At the start most of the girls knew nothing about forklifts. I had a fun time learning how to move the forks up and down, precheck, reverse, and learnt all the safety requirements. 

There were a few moments when we went too fast and when we made a few mistakes. There were a lot of laughs. 

I hope that by having this certificate it might be easier for me to get a part time job and use the skills I have learnt there.
