Great day for our TGC athletes

Waikato Secondary Schools Cross Country Champs were held in Kihikihi on Wednesday 9 June. There was a good turn out of schools, good size fields in each race, and some outstanding performances from runners in our region. Tauranga Girls' College had 9 pupils competing.

Year 9 girls:
6th Maia Poutawera
9th Paige Rickard
14th Maia Suttie
42nd Talia Rankin
Maia, Paige and Maia placed 2nd in the 3 person team event.

Junior Girls:
22nd Phoebe Hawes
23rd Caitlyn Williams
40th Carlie Harris
These girls were 6th in the 3 person team

Senior Girls:
7th Maia Flint
13th Morgan Overington
