Duck Pool Farm Kawakawa Balm started in 2021 as a Level One Business Studies internal. Right from the start, I aimed to create an affordable, good-quality natural and sustainable product. In Year 11, I made Kawakawa balm which proved very popular with customers. I was fortunate to have another outlet to continue selling the product in town. This made me decide to increase my range. In Year 12, I produced aloe vera moisturiser, which again was very popular amongst my customer base, bringing in new people interested in this luxurious product. In Year 13, I produced Kawakawa Soap, a popular seller again. Customers were able to view the products through my Instagram page and were able to make contact with me to place an order. 

Three years in Business Studies has given me the confidence to run a successful business and persevere when innovating new products to add to the range.
