We had the exciting opportunity for two of our Netball teams to take on Australia.

All Saints Anglican School from the Gold Coast were in New Zealand for their Netball tour and contacted our school to organise a game. Our Premier and Junior A teams were ready to take on the challenge. All Saints arrived at Tauranga Girls’ College and were warmly welcomed with a whakatua and the waiata by our Ngā Kōhine o Mereaira group.

Our Junior A’s were up first, put on an outstanding performance, and won. The Premiers followed them, but unfortunately, although they put on a good performance, they missed out on the win by 4 points.

It was great to have All Saints Anglican School visit us, and everyone had a fantastic time playing and watching the netball games.
