Passion, energy, and school spirit were on full display at Tauranga Girls’ College's Swimming Sports on Tuesday 4 March.

From fierce races in the pool to vibrant house chants on the sidelines, the day was a true celebration of competition and unity.

The event kicked off with outstanding performances from competitive swimmers, setting a high standard for the day. As the full school events got underway, the atmosphere came alive with a sea of colourful costumes, enthusiastic cheering, and house representatives showing their creative costumes on the catwalk.

The support from the crowd was electric, pushing swimmers to give it their all in the pool. Adding to the excitement, the highly anticipated house chant-off brought the competition beyond the water.

Voices rang out across the venue as houses battled for the title, but in the end, it was Whina who claimed victory, earning the top chant title with their passion and pride.

A special congratulations to Trelise Chote, Renee Dresner, and Sophie Player, who were crowned Senior, Intermediate, and Junior Champions.
