The Cultural Expo offered a unique opportunity to explore the cultures of different regions and learn about the customs, traditions, and beliefs of people from around the world. There were multiple different foods that I, along with other students, had never been able to try before, making it an incredible time to experience new and diverse foods from various cultures.

It was amazing to see our kura's cultural diversity. There were multiple performances, including Pasifika groups, the school Kapa Haka and the Chinese group. Overall it was a fabulous lunchtime which enriched the Tauranga Girls’ College’s student appreciation for other cultures. It was a brilliant opportunity to learn about our peers and their cultures.
