In the second week of the school holidays six international students flew to Wellington to experience some of the things the capital city has to offer visitors.

Despite a driving rainstorm, high winds and then near perfect weather, the students still managed to learn a lot about Wellington. Visits to Parliament, Weta Studios, Te Papa, Victoria Gardens and riding the cable car and viewing the rugged Wellington coastline all added to the richness of the experience. Of course, no trip is any fun without the obligatory shopping and there was plenty time to do this as well. The international students learnt a lot from this opportunity, and they all thought Wellington was a great city to visit.
