BOP Secondary School Swimming Championships
TGC - March 25, 2024
On Wednesday 13 March, a team of 13 swimmers represented Tauranga Girls’ College in the Bay of Plenty Secondary School Swimming Championships at Baywave.
Students involved were Renee Dresner, Alivia Jenkins, Devon Lobb, Bella-May Martin, Molly Mayston, Isobel Omundsen, Amelie Pearson, Sophie Player, Tahlia Roscoe, Annabelle Smith, Lily Smith, Maddy van Vliet and Ellie Walls.
Our swimmers had a very successful day with several podium places including very strong success in the relay events as follows:
- Junior Relay team - 4 x 50m Freestyle placed 2nd
- Junior Relay team - 4 x 50 Medley placed 1st
- Intermediate Relay - 4 x 50m Freestyle placed 1st
- Intermediate Relay - 4 x 50m Medley placed 3rd
