Next week, we are acknowledging students with excellent attendance. We believe regular attendance is essential for your young person’s road to success and engagement in learning and being a part of the wider community.

The Ministry of Education encourages all young people to attend school regularly. The table below highlights how much school is missed when absent on a regular basis. It also highlights the impact of lateness.

In addition, we also encourage our young people to stay in class and engage for the whole lesson. If they require a bathroom stop, this should occur during break times.
