Tauranga Girls' College was well represented by 9 students at NZSS Swimming Championships 28-31 July held at Waterworld Hamilton.

The team included Kiera Allott, Shaeli Brewer, Laura Thompson, Trelise Chote, Niamh Manning, Jessica Pilbrow, Taimana Randall, Arianna Roberts and Tetsani Poroa-Thompson.

History was made with our Senior Girls team competing in the 400m Freestyle gaining a podium finish with a Bronze Medal. This is the first time we have medaled in a relay. The team was Keira Allott, Laura Thompson, Shaeli Brewer and Trelise Chote. 

During the championship there were 24 Personal Best swims.
