Tauranga Girls’ College hosted the annual Whanaungatanga BBQ to welcome all our new students. It was fantastic to see so many of our new ākonga introducing their whānau to their teachers for this year. Seeing everyone meeting new people and getting to know their teachers better was marvellous!

Some of our prefects cooked up a storm on the BBQ, providing food to the new students and their whānau.

The sunny, hot weather made it the perfect afternoon for a swim, so many of the students made the most of our wonderful pool and hopped in.
