Over the weekend of 26 - 27 June, the Senior Underwater Hockey team competed at the Northern Secondary School’s qualifying competition, held at Baywave Mt Maunganui.

They played 8 pool games prior to the semi finals. Their semi’s game was hard fought against DIO but was a win for TGC 3-1 which placed them 2 seed going into finals. This was another very tough game against EGGS A, who TGC had beaten in the pool games 4-2, both teams playing well with TGC finishing 2nd overall and a silver medal. 

The team are now training hard for the NZSS National Championships which will be held at Baywave again this year on the last weekend in August.
