Marketing in Vietnam

TGC —

At the end of March, Mrs Clifford, International Director and Ms Kanji, Principal, visited Vietnam to promote Tauranga Girls’ College. Vietnam is a relatively new student market for the world, so plenty of countries and education sectors are vying to have Vietnamese students in their education systems.

Tauranga Girls’ College is part of a consortium called LightPath, which comprises a group of New Zealand schools. We spent many hours talking and sharing information about what makes Tauranga Girls’ College unique. Meeting venues were in various settings, with even a very early morning walk/run around the lake in the middle of old Hanoi with several keen agents. We also represented our school at the Education New Zealand Fairs in Ho Chi Min City and Hanoi.

One of our highlights was catching up with Nhi’s mum and dad, our current Vietnamese student. We hope our visit will mean more wonderful Vietnamese students attending Tauranga Girls’ College shortly.
