‘My Garden’ by Caitlin Gilmour

I made ‘My Garden’ during my Year 9 Art class, it was our sculpture project. I was inspired by the artist Emma Prill. I first decided on the colour palette I wanted to use in my garden. I then painted the different colours onto a textured piece of card, some areas I blended the colour, some areas I created textures using a different scraping tool. I cut out different lengths and shapes to make petals, vines, flowers, etc, then worked out which flowers, petals and leaves would best match and I hot glued them onto a piece of card to make my garden.
