Blood Drive

Bree McTavish-Huriwai —

30 donors, 90 lives saved!

On Thursday 25 August, the NZ Blood Association came to our kura to collect blood for the national blood banks.

We had 30 brave ākonga donate 475mls of their blood to those in need. This demonstrated an incredible act of empathy and selflessness and we commend these students for their contribution.

We give our thanks to the NZ Blood Association for reaching out and presenting us with this rewarding opportunity. Many of our students are inspired by this experience to frequently donate.
