After the long process of scoping the upgrade of J Block and working towards a final design, the first tangible signs of the J Block refurbishment have started, with the piles marking the locations of our temporary classrooms.

There will be 10 classrooms and an extra ablution block in total. Most of the classrooms will be at the front of the school, with two science classes beside K Block. Students will also have seen the Envirohub moved to a more central location between E and K blocks.

The classrooms are brand new and come fully carpeted, double glazed and acoustically paneled. They are all equipped with air conditioning, white boards and projectors. These spaces are clearly equipped to support learning and teaching and will eventually be removed at the completion of the refurbishment.
