On Saturday 23 March, Ākonga from Tauranga Girls’ College participated in the 25th Tauranga Multicultural Festival of 2024 at the Historic Village.

The event was a lively celebration of diversity, showcasing cultures from around the world.

Our Ākonga performed in an Indian dance, a Chinese kung fu fan dance, and Pacific singing and dancing. Despite the heavy rain, our determined students persevered and delivered amazing performances that brought their unique and beautiful cultural heritage to life.
