On Thursday 24 November, Tauranga Girls’ College hosted our annual orientation day for our incoming Year 9 cohort.

Ākonga from our contributing schools were welcomed to the college by Tumuaki Ms Kanji before being separated into House groups.

Each group was taken on a tour of the school and given the opportunity to ask questions and learn about what daily life looks like at TGC. Students were also gifted a drink bottle in their new House colour.

It was fantastic to see all of the new faces joining us in 2023. A very warm welcome from team TGC, we can’t wait to see you all again in the new year!
