"Doug"

The reason behind making "Doug" was my liking for pugs, the teacher told us to make a small sculpture and right away my brain gets a picture of a pug. I discussed the pug idea with my table group and they said it was a good one. While describing the task to us our teacher showed us the masterpiece she had been working on, as I went up to take a closer look at the bunny, I thought to myself that if a pug is cute, how cute would it be with big bunny ears. While the idea was fresh in my mind I quickly did a rough sketch and my friend instantly said ‘yes!’. And so that's how I began to construct my sculpture. It is made out of paper mache with extra texture added to the ears and the whiskers.
