Maths week has come and gone with lots of FUN and FANTASTIC opportunities to continue building a passion for numbers, problem solving, creativity and logic and reasoning.

The week started with staff doing a Kahoot at staff meeting, and congratulations to Campbell Jordan (our newest staff member) for being the fastest and highest points scorer overall.

The week continued with;

• Whānau classes finding or designing a maths meme that made the maths teachers laugh the loudest,
• Daily questions in the notices and the ever popular Tag Maths competitions in the classroom, culminating in teams going on to represent their class in a school wide competition in the hall.

Congratulations to the winning Year 9 team Lydia Snell, Hannah Aspey and Hannah Darcy and the winning Year 10 team Samantha Cook, Bianca Cross, Meghan Hughes and Annalise Cole.  These girls received a canteen voucher worth $10 each.

Hopefully an incentive for others in 2022.
