International Students 2025

This year, we welcomed 45 international students to our school, and 25 new students joined in 2025. Our students come from Germany, Korea, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong.

Phone free kura

We are a phone-free kura which means cell phones are to be placed in students' bags and turned off from the time of the first school bell to the end of the school day at 3.15 pm. This aligns with the Ministry of Education directives ‘Phones away for the day’ (2024).

NZSS Beach Volleyball Champs

TGC had 4 Beach Volleyball teams competing at the NZSS Beach VB Champs on 7 - 9 February at Mount Maunganui Beach. There were 162 teams from across NZ battling it out in super hot conditions.
