Photo Collections is a free high resolution stock photography directory with more than 192 photos of unmatched quality.

#4 Tookapic

Tookapic is a website that helps you develop a habit of daily photo taking in a fun and addictive way. Which means that a lot of people have used this website and uploaded thousands of pictures. Turns out, approximately 1635 of these images are very good and also very free to use.

#5 Creative Vix

Creative Vix offers a wide range of free stock images for personal and commercial use in five categories – city, people, landscape, flowers and animals.

#6 Cupcake

Created by Jonas Nilsson Lee, Cupcake offers free photos to use in your projects. Released under CC0 license, you can use these images even for commercial purposes. You can also purchase premium photos from Jonas, if that’s your thing.

#7 FancyCrave

FancyCrave is a collection of royalty free high resolution images for your personal and commercial projects. Two new images are added every day, how cool is that?

#8 FoodiesFeed

FoodiesFeed, as the name subtly suggests offers free stock photos of… yes you guessed it. Food! Jakub Kapusnak has taken a great deal of energy to put together this collection of 344 photos.

#9 GetRefe

GetRefe is a high-quality free stock photo directory with 337 photos. And even more photos are added as we speak. It also offers a selection of very affordable premium photos.

#10 ISO Republic

ISO Republic is a searchable free photo directory with more than 492 photos. Get your free photos from talented designer and photographer Tom Eversley.

#11 Magdeleine

Magdeleine is a collection of hand-picked CC0 photos from around the web. What makes this website stand out from the crowd is the ease of search. The website also hosts free images that are not in public domain and require attribution. So make sure you set up the filters to search only the free stuff.

#12 Pexels

Pexels claims to be the place where all the best free photos end up. I think we can all agree that powerful search and 3800 photos make a strong case for that.

#13 Shutteroo

Shutteroo is free travel images & stock photo directory. You can download free high-resolution images for both personal and commercial purposes. No attribution, no worries.

#14 Snapwire Snaps

Snapwire Snaps is a lesser-known photo directory, so you won’t find photos from here in every other blog post on the Interwebs.

#15 SplitShire

SplitShire has more than 3800 photos from Daniel Nanescu both for personal and commercial use. All images are free, no attribution is required.
