The Council inviting you and all doctors in accredited training programmes to share honest feedback about your training experiences.

What’s working well and what could be better? Whether it’s supervision, workload, wellbeing, or cultural safety, your feedback helps shape the future of medical training in Aotearoa New Zealand.

How to take part?
On Monday 18 August 2025, you will receive an email from torohia@perceptive.co.nz inviting you to complete the survey by clicking on your unique link.

The Council has shared participants' email addresses with Perceptive, the survey vendor, for the dissemination of Torohia, in line with Principle 11 of the Privacy Act 2020.

Why should you take part?

• Your voice helps improve the quality of training for you and future trainees.

• Results will support change by training providers and inform training accreditation processes. 

This is your chance to be heard - your insights can make a real difference.

• Your responses will be anonymised and securely reported in December 2025 - ensuring no information can be traced back to an individual.

• It takes approximately 20 minutes to fill in the survey.

• You can exit and return to the survey using the link in this email at any time within the open period between 18 August and midnight 8 September 2025. You will be able to continue where you left off.
