🔊 We are pleased to share that the Council has achieved Toitū carbonreduce certification, following the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard and Toitū's requirements.

The Toitū carbonreduce certification helps us measure our greenhouse gas emissions accurately and develop strategies to manage, reduce, and offset our environmental impact. This aligns with our commitment to sustainability as we carry out our public protection role.

This is our first year with the certification programme, and we look forward to building on our efforts.
