In this edition of Medical Council News, we discuss the importance of public trust in the profession and the feedback we received in response to our survey of the public, the profession and stakeholders. We are also very pleased to advise that there will be no increase to your practising certificate fee and disciplinary levy for the year commencing 1 July 2023.

📰 HDPT Outcome | In a decision released in March 2023, the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal suspended former Invercargill General Practitioner, Dr Nelson Nagoor for three months.
