Reports, classes, assemblies and the final day

End of Year Reports (including how to access them)
It is coming to the time of year where we are very close to publishing end of year reports. That means for:
- New Entrants, Year 1 and Year 2: General Comments
- Year 3, 4, 5 and 6: Maths, Reading, Writing and General Comments
These comments will be published on Friday 7 December before 4 pm. You should all receive email notifications for each of the comments that are published. If you are not sure of your LINC Ed password please click here.
2019 teachers / Home Bases and visits to new classes
Along with the end of year reports being published, you will also be able to access your child's 2019 HB on Friday 7 December (before 4 pm). These classes will go live at the same time as the reports are published. In order to access these, you need to login into LINC Ed and click the "MY CLASS" button. If you are not sure of your LINC Ed password please click here. Please remember that you will only be able to view the Home Base and not the wider collaborative team as LINC Ed has not yet developed this feature.
A visit to next years Home Bases and Collaborative Teams has been planned Tuesday of the last week of school. This is a great chance for students and teachers to begin building terrific rapport ready for a great start to learning next year.
End of Year Assemblies
There are a number of End of Year trips and gatherings at this time of the year. Please keep a close eye on the calendar and emails coming home from teachers. Two such events are our final two assemblies for the year.
Our "Awards Assembly" is the assembly where we hand out Home Base awards for the Tuakana students and the school cups and trophies. You will be contacted shortly if your child will be receiving something in this assembly. This assembly begins at 1.45pm on Thursday 13 December. Students who are Year 4, 5 and 6 will attend this assembly.
Our "Leavers Assembly" is a whole school assembly on the last day. In this assembly, we focus on our Year 6 students who will be leaving the school. This assembly begins at 11.15am on Friday 14 December. The whole school will attend this assembly.
This year we have included the words of the songs / waiata that we will be singing on the programmes, that will also be printed and placed in the Hall on the day. We will be emailing out sound files in the week of the Assembly should you wish to practice and join in with us.
2019 Whānau Connect Meetings (4 February and 5 February)
At the bottom of all of the General Comments will be a link for you to book in for the 2019 Whānau Connect Meetings. These meetings are on the first two days of next year (Monday 4 February and Tuesday 5 February) where every child will have a 20-minute meeting with their new Home Base teacher. This is your chance to share everything you need their Home Base teacher to know about your child.
Please note, you will first need to know what Home Base Teacher to book with (see step above for how to access "MY CLASS").
2019 First full day of school (Thursday 7 February)
The first full day of school in 2019 is Thursday 7 February. Monday and Tuesday (4 & 5 February) are Whānau Connect meetings (as above) and Wednesday 6 February is Waitangi Day.
