Detailed below are instructions on how to book an appointment to speak with your child's HB teacher. Following our reporting review, and parent feedback surveys in 2018 we are offering the following two options to the whole school. This replaces anniversary meetings previously held for younger children.

You have two options:

• 1. An in-school observation (called Learning in Action). Bookings are available on Tuesday 11 June, Wednesday 12 June and Thursday 13 June. (There may be some variation based on teacher availability). Booking details below.
• 2. An after-school meeting (called a Learning Conversation). Bookings are available on Monday 24 June, Tuesday 25 June and Wednesday 26 June. (There may be some variation based on teacher availability). Booking details below.

1. Learning in Action:

This is an in-class observation opportunity where you can see how learning happens for your child. They will be able to share work examples with you and give you a tour of their learning space. There will also be an opportunity to speak with the teacher during this time. For more information, please click here.

This is an after-school meeting that your child also attends. They will be able to share work examples with you and the teacher will be able to discuss with you what the child can do well, and what they are working on next. Progress on changes we are making on LINC Ed:

We are in the process of finalising 3 current goals for every student for reading, writing and maths. This includes ensuring what they can already do has been marked as 'done'. This process (including the training involved) has been a large part of teachers work thus far this year. In the coming weeks, it will be opened so that you can see this prior to these two meeting options. Another separate email will be sent out with instructions on how to view this when it is ready.
