Toki Speech winner, Chloe Li, and runner-up, Aria-Moon Carson-Meihana (both Year 6), presented at the 2023 Puketapapa Kahui Ako Speech Showcase held at Hillsborough Primary School earlier this month.

Joined by the speech winners of other schools within our Community of Learning, both Chloe and Aria-Moon presented their speeches on Kaitiakitanga (guardianship) with great confidence. They received glowing praise and feedback from the two Mt Roskill Grammar School guest judges. 

Chloe will also be presenting her speech at the Rehui Tai Speech Competition on Wednesday 20 September at Remuera Intermediate School along with Aishani Ram from Room 18 who will be doing a flash talk. We wish them both the very best.
