Student Leaders lift the lid on...

Student Leaders —

In this corner of the newsletter your Three Kings School House Leaders and Class Representatives will be stepping out into our school community to find out more about the people who make Three Kings School such a great place to be.

This week we will be interviewing two of our fabulous TKS teachers Mr Keith and Mrs Wolfgramm.

Mr Keith

1. Why did you choose to be a teacher?

Mr Keith was studying to be a physiotherapist but had spent some time coaching at kids cricket clinics. He enjoyed working with kids and decided that teaching would be lots more fun than being a physio.

2. Where did you go to school and what was your favourite subject?

He went to Mihi School which is a small school halfway between Rotorua and Taupo. There were only 80 children in the whole school. He enjoyed everything at school.

3. Where is your favourite holiday destination and what do you like to do there?

Mr Keith’s most favourite holiday destinations are Italy, Greece and Slovenia. He enjoys exploring and admiring the scenery that different countries have to offer. He also enjoys trying the traditional food in each country he visits.

4. What is your favourite sport and why?

His favourite sports are cricket and rugby. He really enjoyed running, dodging and tackling when he played rugby.

Mrs Wolfgramm

1. Where did you grow up and go to school?

Mrs Wolfgramm grew up and went to school in Vauaie, Tonga

2. Do you have any pets and what are their names?

She has her fingers crossed on Friday nights for a pizza dinner.

4. What do you enjoy most about being a Year 1 teacher?

Mrs Wolfgramm really enjoys how Year 1 students have a really forceful desire to learn and enjoy the process of learning and trying new things.
