We hope that you had a lovely break and enjoyed some time with family. It was great to start back on Monday with a powhiri welcoming our new students, whanau and teachers. We have an exciting term ahead! Kauri team are focusing on the performing arts culminating in their musical production, Dragon Days, in week 9. The Rata team are looking forward to the Marae visit for our Year 2's and the school based Te Ao Māori day for the New Entrants and Year ones. This will be a part of their studies around Māori art and crafts, waiata and greetings. Kowhai team kick off their term with their survival days and are then exploring the relationship between our food and our climate. We also have St Johns coming in and working with the whole school teaching a variety of programmes supporting students in understanding what to do in an emergency and teaching them about injury prevention.
