The year 1 tamariki took part in an exciting day's worth of activities to celebrate Te Ao Maori Language Week.

From poi, to headbands, weaving, to ti rakau and the haka. Year 1's Te Ao Maori Day had it all! What a fantastic day to acknowledge and celebrate the wonderful language, culture and identity of Aotearoa. Shout out to the whanau, tamariki and teachers who made this a really special day.
