Have-a-Go Day

Nicola Eka —

Three Kings students from Years 3- 6 joined several other schools for a day of challenge and fun.

60 Three Kings students headed to Keith Hay Park where they took part in a range of sports. There was the Weetbix TRY CHALLENGE complete with cargo nets, bouncy obstacle course and under/over rollers. Learners got the chance to take part in football, gymnastics, rippa rugby, karate and softball. It was an action packed busy day with lots of fun, learning and challenge. Every student who took part received a medal and a t-shirt - talk about winning!

"I thought Have a Go Day was great because even though you may not come first you still get a medal. The gymnastics was because you are flexing your body and feeling better." Alex

"I liked Have a Go day because I got a free breakfast. The running was the best - I did 5 laps and was out of breath. I didn't like karate that much because I didn't get to chop the board." Caleb
