Read-a-thon Update

Nicola Eka —

Our Read-a-thon is well underway

The first week of our Read-a-thon saw over 200 students sign up for a fundraising page, 40 spot prizes and one MAJOR prize handed out and 3 exciting "Come and Read Sessions" with Sal's pizza vouchers given out.

The week started with a Te Reo Māori themed come and read session, followed by a fantasy and fairy tales session - complete with dress ups and ended with a non fiction reading session.

It's not too late to join the action with plenty of reading time and prizes left! The PTA has set a target of 300 registrations via Three Kings School Read-a-thon (raiseit.co.nz) then one lucky class will go into the draw to win a PIZZA PARTY LUNCH. This draw will take place (I know we can reach the target!) at the Book Parade Friday 13 October (Week 1, Term 4)

Our 2nd MAJOR prize will be drawn tomorrow, Wednesday 20 September at 10am. To be in to win, sign up and receive ONE sponsorship (of any value!).

Thank you so much for all your support. We are looking forward to starting the process of refurnishing the library, which is where all the funds raised will go.
