This week we are celebrating a combined Book Week and Chinese Language Week with lots of exciting activities and events planned at school for our last week of Term 3.

· ‘Celebrity’ book readings at lunchtime in the library

· Daily Book Quiz – students hunt for their syndicate quiz box, answer the question correctly and go in the draw for daily prizes

· ‘Who is it today?’ mystery book reading in class each day (teachers rotate to different classes)

· Chinese language crafts, games and activities in the hall every lunchtime

· Chinese dumpling tasting on Wednesday 28 September (permission forms must be returned) - Xièxiè nĭ to the parents who organised this

· Dress as your Favourite Book Character on Friday 30 September with a whole school parade in the hall – prizes for most realistic, most creative and most wackiest in each class

· The Great Book Swap – bring in a pre-loved book during the week in return for a coupon to ‘spend’ at our Book Swap in the hall on Friday at 1pm (swap your books in the Library by Thursday)
