Hello from the PTA,

We just wanted to give you a quick update as things are frequently changing for all of us.

Disco

We would still love to go ahead with this and are standing by for term 4 if we are able to hold the disco. All orders will be held until then and refunded if we are unable to go ahead. If you would like a refund before then, please email us at 3kingspta@gmail.com, before the end of term.

Scarecrow festival

There has been lots of discussion between the PTA/Scarecrow Festival organizers and the school and we have decided not to go ahead with the festival in its usual form.

Covid-19 continues to cast much uncertainty over events; we simply don’t know what level we will be in, come November, and therefore whether the event could go ahead. On top of that, we don’t want to put extra pressure (financial and other) on our school and the wider community at this time. Our hope is to hold a family fun afternoon and picnic on November 7th. BBq games and activities on the field to round off the Scarecrow competition. There will be more information around this in term 4, if we are able to go ahead.

Scarecrow competition

This is still on, and able to be held regardless of our level! Look out for the flyer coming home with all the details on how to enter.

School Raffle.

We are still able to run this and will be sending home raffle tickets, for $2, for those who would like to participate in this fundraiser. Thanks to Sony, we have a great TV, and wireless headphones up to win, and also PaknSave and Commercial Bay vouchers. All details will follow.

Silent Auction

As we are able also to hold a silent raffle we are going ahead with this, as an online auction (similar to trade me), as in previous years. The auction will go live in term 4. Email 3kingspta@gmail.com if you have a good or service you would like to donate and Jane will be in touch.
