We are proud to celebrate our year 6 students who took part in the nationwide Otago Maths competition this year.

The Otago Maths Competition is an annual mathematics contest in New Zealand, aimed at students in year 7 and 8. It challenges participants with a range of mathematical problems to promote mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. This year we entered 17 of our year 6 maths students into the competition. 

Theodore, Kayla, Eesha, Griffin, Matthew, Eli, Elliot, Mimi, Samuel, Leo, Megumi, Jonathan, Andre, Avelyn, Scarlett, Mathew and Elsa, have all worked hard this year, taking part in practice lessons and completing 5 test days. 

Special mention needs to be made of Elsa, who has scored high enough across all the test days to qualify for the finals which will take place later this term.
