On Friday last week as part of Koru’s drama focus for Term 3, we had a team themed day based upon the story “Where the wild things are” by Maurice Sendak. We called this special day “Koru goes wild”

It was a fun morning involving mask making, character building, dance and movement. The whole team met together after morning tea on the crown with our masks, to dance and make merry. Then we processed as a team “wildly” through the staff room, along past the office where we were greeted enthusiastically by Miss Blair and finally out down to the field where we spent some time exploring the new sports equipment. It was a great morning enjoyed by students and teachers alike.
