Each term we practice an emergency drill; fire, earthquake or lockdown.

You may have seen in the news last week a number of schools had to enact their bomb threat procedures due to calls made to the school.  Although we don't practice our bomb threat procedures (due to the fact that the process is strongly dictated by the New Zealand Police depending on the circumstances) we have revisited our policies this week with all staff. 

This term we will be practising our lockdown. We are going to run a practice with informing parents, by app and email. These will have the words PRACTICE at the top. It will be on Wednesday afternoon,17th August. You do not need to do anything once you receive the app alert or email.
