Live theatre with Jo and MC from The Ridiculous Rhyme Show UK
They presented an amusing and engaging show for our Transition - Year 4 classes. Three Kings students were asked to help create some original rhymes for songs. Plenty of laughter, humour and learning about rhyming words to include in song lyrics along with music, drama and stage interactions meant that all students thoroughly enjoyed learning literacy in a different way.
Our Year 5 and Year 6 students were treated to a TV Workshop session. They learned about the intricacies of producing a three minute scene for TV or film (which can take 3-4 hours to a full day to produce).
Students had so much fun taking on the roles of: acting, filming, being a sound technician , directing, producing, hair & makeup and being a runner -who uses the clapper board to start each 'take'. It looks as though we have some budding talent for the future film and TV industry.
