About our teachers: JP and Nick
JP has been teaching the guitar at a number of Auckland schools since 2014. His patience, easy going nature and ability as a teacher have seen hundreds of guitar students enjoy his lessons since then. JP has a Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance, as well as extensive experience playing in bands, touring and recording music.
Nick has been teaching the drums at a number of Auckland schools/Music Academy's since 2015. Nick's passion for teaching young people is sparked from him also learning drums at a young age and knowing what it takes to succeed in his known field, and of course having fun while doing so! Nick has been drumming for over 20 years and has performed locally and internationally with a number of New Zealand artists, most notably with his band Ekko Park. Nick also has a Bachelor's Degree Majoring in Music.
