With all of the restrictions in place for level 2 it was impossible to continue with our planned science extravaganza. With all the amazing learning the students have been doing though it felt wrong not to share it! So welcome to the TKS Digital Science Fair.
We would love for your help to create the attitudes, values and dispositions that we see as essential for our Three Kings learners. Read on and have your say below.
With the additional processes in place, Three Kings school is well prepared a safe place for all our students to return to normal learning during level 2. However due to other restrictions some additional events have either been postponed or in the case of some cancelled altogether. Please read on for a list of events and any changes that have been made.

One of the core roles of the Ministry of Education in working with schools is the safety of students; physical, emotional and digital. At the moment the Ministry of Education are working with Three Kings School to look at fencing for the safety of our students. One of the areas of concern is around the car park.
This term our topic/concept is Science and Three Kings School had the privilege of having the ‘Science in the Van roadshow’ over two days. They were able to inspire our staff and students with a fun and engaging approach to science.
Auckland Transport and Constable Tineke Laing are working with Kowhai team this week.

As a school we are examining what it means to be a Three Kings student and the skills and dispositions that we think are important to achieve all that we can!
We are excited to welcome John to the senior leadership team working alongside our other Deputy Principal Bernice Mata'utia.

It was so lovely to see our children back on Monday. We are excited to be able to resume our learning in person and want to say a huge thank you to the parents and whanau who supported their learning while online.
Friday 11 September
Our lovely Room 2 students worked on some colour poems after our last lockdown. Four of the students had their poetry chosen to be published on the poetrybox blog.
While we would love nothing more than New Zealand to be Covid free and our students to be onsite learning with us, we have been using the opportunities of Level 3 to work on some property projects at Three Kings School.
Due in by 3pm, Wednesday 2nd September.

Some of our student leaders have been working with the Auckland University School of Nursing on a project about children’s neighbourhood perceptions and experiences during the COVID-19 lockdown in Aotearoa New Zealand
Market place opening hours
Powhiri - Monday 12th October @ 9.20 am in the Hall We would like to welcome the new students and whanau who are starting at Three Kings School in Term 4 and any new students who started at the end of Term 3. If you can please arrive with your child at 8.45 am on Monday 12th October and meet in the library before the powhiri begins.
