Totara - Garden To Table
What a great session we had this week in Garden to Table. Our visitors from the GTT head office, Chessa and Lisa were blown away with the work ethic of the students. The students harvested broccoli, leeks, celery, carrots, mandarins and feijoa's, weeded garden beds and the tunnel house, added sheep manure to the garden bed., planted beetroot seedlings.
On the menu for lunch was; Hua Whenua soup with Rewena bread, Feijoa and Apple Crumble with Ginger and Brown Sugar Yoghurt. The Totara students give a huge shout out to Murray and Sharyn, Pauline, Judy, Miriam and Rachel for helping out each group and of course Max and Louisa for all the work to make the session so successful.
