This week Tihiraki North Loburn students get to work with the EPro8 equipment, following instructions to make some exciting constructions: concrete mixer, scarecrow, Queen's throne, earthquake test platform.

Each class has scheduled time slots throughout the week when they get to use the equipment kits in groups. The kits contain: rods, pulleys, wheels, axels, gears, joiners, nuts and bolts and other tools and items to help in the build. A class internal event was held on Wednesday and a final challenge held on Thursday. Points are awarded for each step of the building process and the winning team from Totara and Kahikatea will compete in the inter school challenge to be held on the 2nd July.
