About Home and School

Kate Hassall - February 27, 2024

Our Home and School Committee is made up of a group of friendly, helpful whanau who get together primarily to organise fundraising events to raise money for programs and resources that provide greater opportunities for our tamariki.

Fundraising events include our major fundraiser: the North Canterbury Kids Hunt which is organised by a sub-committee and takes place in May, as well as winter lunches, cookie dough/rocky road online sales, Naked Baker pies, Easter Raffle and our school disco to name a few. The money raised goes to support the Garden to Table and Paddock to Plate programme and helps to purchase resources for our tamariki including sports uniforms, reading books, and items for the playground.

We have a second hand uniform cupboard in the back of the hall. We run an honesty system where you may help yourself to items from the cupboard and pay in cash at the office, or use online banking to deposit directly into the Home and School bank account (03 1582 0090580 000) with uniform as the reference.

If you can help in anyway please contact us: hands@northloburn.school.nz
