The Thomas House Development Committee is in the early stages of planning a major redevelopment of our boys’ hostel accommodation. 

The aim is to modernise the living spaces and to create superb facilities for the future. The Timaru Boys’ High School Board of Trustees is committed to maintaining the boarding environment and boarding experience to the highest possible standard.   Families are invited to attend an information evening to learn about this project on 14 October at 6:00pm in Tait Block. This build is expected to enhance the wider school as well as the hostel, so we warmly encourage families and friends of day boys to join us as well as those of boarders. Old Boys and supporters of the school are also warmly invited.

A brief presentation from members of the Board and consultants will provide an overview of the design and other improvements underway in Thomas House. There will be a tour of the construction area offered. by The evening will conclude with refreshments and an opportunity to discuss the project. We look forward to having you with us on 14 October.
