There were nine teams in total who were asked 6 rounds of questions covering topics such as School Knowledge, Science, Places around New Zealand, Soundtracks, Famous Lives and Sports.

There were arguments over what really counts as music, when the first match against Waitaki was held and what the colours of the Olympic Rings may be. It was a fierce battle but in the end, the quiz was won by Dawson, 2nd was Tait, 3rd Simmers and 4th Hogben.

The winners were awarded The Timaru Boys’ High School Book of Knowledge trophy and Hell Pizza vouchers with the ”Keith” team winning the spot prize for getting the most points in School Knowledge. The houses had better start swatting up for next year!
