Wednesday 17 October saw another highly anticipated celebration of our school sportsmen and their achievements during 2018.

The highest honours bestowed during this celebration are the Todd Burtenshaw Cup, presented to the Junior student who has achieved the most in sport in a single year and the Sir Roy McKenzie Cup, presented to the Senior student who has achieved the most in sport in a single year.

Ryan received the junior award for his efforts in Athletics, Cross Country and Football, most notably being part of the winning Canterbury team at the Cross Country Nationals where he finished 4th in the junior boys’ race.

The senior award was won by Will for his excellence in the field of Water Skiing, including a 5th placing at the World Junior Championship, held in Spain in August with a final jump of 51.7 m.
