In challenging conditions, Johnson ran very well to place 40th in New Zealand for Year 9 boys. Johnson joined with the Canterbury region for the National Relays on Sunday. Although he had qualified for the A team (which won) he was allowed to run in the Canterbury B team which finished seventh overall.

It is great to see one of our young men pit himself against  New Zealand's top young runners - well done Johnson.
