Celebrated winning the Rankin Cup for the first time.

Our 1st XI hockey team made history by bringing home the Rankin Cup. 

The Rankin Cup and India Shield is New Zealand’s top secondary school hockey tournament, which sees 32 qualifying teams go head-to-head with the top 16 playing for the Rankin Cup and the bottom 16 playing for the India Shield.

TBHS made it to the final where they were up against St Bede's College. They boys played outstanding hockey to take the win 2-0.

This result shows the hard work and dedication the team has been working towards all season. In the final the boys were calm, composed and played smart hockey. A well earned title and an achievement earned to keep the grin on their faces for a long time to come.
