Layton Wilson, William Bishop and Isaac Beattie recently competed in the Aoraki Secondary School Trapshooting Competition at the Timaru Club.

Illness of some regular team members meant we could not field a full team. Our boys who participated all performed well but Layton  had an exceptional day when he tied for first place in two of the three disciplines. After the ties were broken in a head to head shoot off, Layton carried away a first and second place, making him the best individual shooter on the day.
